First time buyers who are considering buying a house, or are already in the process of applying for a home owner loan, have been advised to move quickly in order to beat the deadline for the end of the current stamp duty holiday. Last year, the government introduced the stamp duty holiday for first time buyers to help and try and reduce the costs of buying a house and taking out a home owner loan or mortgage for those buyers looking at properties of between £125,000 and £250,000.
